Hi there, I'm Christine.

Horses first came into my life when I was 10, soon to be followed by my first pony at 11, I think it's safe to say I never grew out of the horse-girl phase.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of learning from traditional and natural horsemanship trainers and riders, and look to apply those lessons in my own horsemanship.

I believe in approaching training with a gentle touch and a calm demeanor, tailoring the training to the needs of each individual horse. I believe in always setting up the horse for success, building on each lesson and not asking more of them than they can handle in a given moment. To me, it's about building a partnership with the horse through mutual respect and trust. Trust results in a calm rider and horse.

I specialize in training trail horses and/or putting on miles. As an endurance rider, I love nothing more than hitting the trail for miles on end.

I also have a real soft spot for the rescues and the underdogs, and am always open to considering horses with more complex needs--whether it's a horse with unknown history, older and unbroke, in need of a restart or refresh, or with past trauma.
